HP Elitebook 820 G4 adopted the case of the Elitebook 820 G3. The case of this Laptop made of stable magnesium alloy. The lid and the top side of the base unit are silver-colored, the underside and the display frame are black. The lid opens about 140 degrees.
HP Elitebook 820 offers three USB ports (two Type-A, one Type-C). In addition, the Laptop contains a docking port, VGA and DisplayPort. It also features a really fast SD card Reader with 86.6 MB/s speed.
HP supports 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi standards. The computer also has an LTE modem on board. The SIM card slot is on the right side of the case and allows comfortable insertion or replacement of SIM cards.
HP’s security software (HP Client Security) pre-installed on this Laptop. HP Elitebook is a business notebook, so the device comes with security options and features. For example, it comes with a Trusted Platform Module (2.0), as well as a smartcard reader and a Finger Print Reader for biometric access control.
HP Elitebook 820 G4 features a backlight keyboard, which can be controlled via a function key. There are two brightness levels. The multi-touch computer’s touchpad occupies about 8.2 x 4.6 cm. The pad is responsive in the corners. It can be enabled and disabled by double-clicking the upper left corner.
