With up to 12 hours of battery, the L490 will last all day. When running low on juice, rapid-charging technology will give you 80% battery capacity in just 60 minutes. In addition, the optional backlit keyboard—with white LEDs—allows you to work in even low-light conditions.

The L490 comes with plenty of ports, including HDMI and USB-C, so it’s a breeze to plug in other devices. Thanks to dual-band AC (2×2) WiFi and Bluetooth® 4.2, getting online is easy. And with Near Field Communication (NFC) and optional LTE-A technology, it can hook up to NFC devices and stay connected remotely.

Thanks to the optional touch fingerprint reader and infrared camera, logging in is quick and secure—via advanced biometric technologyand Windows Hello facial software. Plus, with ThinkShutter, you can close the webcam when it’s not in use.
