Compact Design
The Fujitsu scanner has been manufactured to free up as much space as possible. Not only is the compact design handy for tight spaces, but Fujitsu has also incorporated U-Turn scan technology. U-Turn saves space by returning scanned documents back to where they were loaded. Handily, the stacker will also automatically adjust for freshly-scanned documents and then retract for the next batch of papers.
Auto Skew Correction & Active Seperation
Everyone wants to save time and the Fujitsu fi-800R has been designed with that in mind. The Automatic Document Feeder and Active Separation contributes to the impressive 40ppm/80ipm scan speed. The ADF allows up to 20 unorganised documents to be fed neatly into the scanner and straightened, lessening the chances of feed errors and usability issues. The Active Separation feature adapts the pressure of the scanner to accommodate the thickness and quality of each document, so you could scan a passport in the same batch as a birth certificate with no issues.
Versatile Document Handling
Important documents such as passports, ID and invoices can all be scanned with the Fujitsu fi-800R, eliminating the need for other specialised equipment. The scanner also features Smart Facial Recognition technology, which recognises faces on documents like passports and IDs and then once scanned, organises them in the correct order. When scanning passports, the fi-800R can automatically recognise the Machine Readable Zone and extract the data for a speedy on-boarding process.
